Lautaro was born in 1987 in Buenos Aires Argentina. At the age of 9 his family moved to New York City. Lautaro was accepted into both Art and Architecture schools at the Cooper Union but despite an intention to pursue painting as a career Lautaro studied architecture to receive an “ample and diverse education.” Since graduating he has lived and worked in Brooklyn New York and in the Hamptons. Lautaro enjoys working on large canvases that are both often symbolic and expressive. As subject matter he explores his passion for literature and film and explores themes of life and death, architecture, and perception. Lautaro is included in numerous public and private collections including the Perez art collection, PAM museum, Deutsch Bank, Louis Vuitton among others. Lautaro lives and works in Southampton New York.
