Franco Cuttica
Franco Cuttica was born in 1990 in Argentina. At the age of 6 his family moved to New York City. Franco attended the Pratt Institute and the Cooper Union School for Architecture. Working in numerous mediums, Franco is renowned for his iconic driftwood sculptures which depict animals as varied as buffalo horses and objects such as giant skulls. Franco has recently branched out into painting using airbrush and oil paint to achieve painstaking detail and fluidity. His new work explores themes of sexuality, nature, power and metabolism. Franco is featured in numerous international collections from New York to Mexico and Argentina. Franco lives and works in Southampton New York and Brooklyn.
